A simple tunic brought with you from the mainland. It barely classes as 护甲, but it’s better than no 护甲 at all.
When you joined the expedition, you had nothing but the clothes on your back. All your worldly belongings were lost, and all your gold drained away. Debt collectors would appear out of the shadows, swarming toward you like rats seeking cheese. What choice did you have but to leave?
The expedition offered you a chance away from all your troubles. An opportunity to escape the cruel hand that fate has dealt you. These clothes once represented everything you ever lost, but now they represent the threadbare start of a new beginning.
