The following text is transcribed from the Journal.
Hate can be a powerful 工具. It forges and it destroys with equal might. Grudges can last generations, well beyond the lifespans of those first slighted, and vengeance… vengeance can be eternal.
Ravanna knew this well. She stoked her hatred and turned it into a 武器. She wrapped it around her soul like a cage and unleashed the power of it into the very sky over the Highlands. A storm, driven by grief, rage and unfettered loathing, turned the clouds into agents of her vengeance and as they writhe, rage and hate, they build static charge that they unleash upon the garou that live below.
This 戒指 was on her finger when Ulv died, and it became infused with that same hatred. At first it only turned its rage against the garou, but the problem with hate is that it festers and mutates into something worse. Everything is to blame for Ulv’s death. Every plant, every rock, every movement of the stars, they all led up to that moment and so the 戒指 hates them too, and now it seeks, in its own small way, to take revenge upon the world.
