The 法杖 of Light is a Power level 4 Masterwork Magic 武器. The 配方 can be obtained by completing the 任务 Highlighting the Problem. Unlike other Masterwork weapons, it does not possess any special features compared to a normal 武器, other than its high damage.

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

In the Third Age, before someone could wield a 法杖 of light, it would first need to be blessed by three people.

A priest would bless it first, instilling the 武器 with Saradomin's wisdom. A monk would bless it second, imbuing the 法杖 with the humility of Saradomin. Finally, an icyene general would give their blessing, dedicating the 武器 to Saradomin's righteousness.

Those battlemages chosen to wield such a sacred 武器 would dive into battle against Zamorak's forces, and believed themselves invulnerable.

They were often proved wrong.

Yet, those who carried the 法杖 into battle seemed to survive longer than their compatriots. The defensive 魔法 of the 法杖 kept them alive longer than others. A demon once stole a 法杖 and tried to use that power for himself. Still, when he tried to channel demonic power through the 法杖, it is said that the explosion could be seen from across the battlefield.

花絮

  • There was an unused status effect in the cache where the player would receive a 33% melee resistance for six seconds whilst wielding the 法杖, but it is not currently active in the game.
