Dirty Water is a consumable Drink 物品 that provides 10 Hydration but also 20 Soulscourge, which will cause damage over time if it builds to 100. It can be cooked (purified) at a Campfire or Grill into Clean Water at any level of Cooking, but provides only 1 XP, unlike all other ingredients. It can be collected from ponds or any accessible 胸甲 of water.

This water will quench your thirst a little, but it contains a faint residue of a cataclysmic event that afflicted Ashenfall. As a result, there are traces of a tainted substance in the water. Drinking it will damage the soul of anyone who is not native to the area and adapted to it.
