Summon 石头 Spirits is a spell that is unlocked at level 24 Mining. Casting this 法术 will spawn a small spirit that will go directly to the nearest clay or ore node up to 200m, leaving a bright trail and a bright vertical beam. It stays at the node until the player reaches it or until five minutes elapse, whichever comes first. It is useful for locating underground caves or secret dungeons, as most of them will contain a few 矿石 rocks inside or nearby the entrance. Several types of 矿石 markers (clay, 青铜 矿石, tin 矿石, etc.) will show on the player's compass.

If the player casts the 法术 with no rocks or 矿石 nearby, the runes will still be used, and the player will receive the message, "There is no 矿石 nearby!"

It was a dwarf who asked Guthix for this 法术. Ashenfall promised ores and metals that the dwarven smiths could only dream of, but they were often hidden away in the bowels of the earth. So it was that Guthix created this 法术 and taught it to the dwarven blacksmiths that had joined him on Ashenfall. The result was the creation of wonderous new weapons, 护甲 and tools that pushed Bramblemead into a new era of prosperity.
