Imagine that the money in your wallet was stretched skin from a distant relative. Now, switch out your disgust for a kind of holy reverence: the KotHaar feel this towards all the obsidian about them. That flesh isn't just a physical remnant of their ancestors, it carries their memories too. Knowledge permeates the rock.
