The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

Trapped by a shrine that stood atop a rocky island, surrounded by the hungry dead, Sir Lateef prayed to Saradomin with all his 力量. He begged for salvation, for a miracle that might free him, but silence was his only answer. He barricaded himself atop the monument, the dead scrabbling at his defences, their unholy growling keeping him from even a moment’s sleep. As time drew on, and hunger and thirst took him, he turned to the symbol of Saradomin in defeated rage. Where was his god? Why was he abandoned? Had he not spent his life in service of the lord of light? Enraged, he took his 剑 and cleaved Saradomin’s symbol from its plinth, causing it to crash to the floor. Filled with guilt, he hid the fallen piece from his sight. His last act was one of blasphemy, but perhaps an act justly performed.
