魔法 (Magic)

魔法 is one of the eleven Skills in Runescape: Dragonwilds and was 发布 in Update 0.8. 魔法 is one of the three 战斗 styles players can use. 战斗 spells can be cast to efficiently fight monsters from a distance, whereas utility spells have numerous uses.

In addition, players can gain 经验 from 魔法 技能 Tomes and special reward tomes like the Tome of the 龙族 杀戮.

Equipment

Weapons

魔法 Weapons currently consists only of staffs of which there are several varieties. Staffs provide a passive 符文 damage multiplier to provide additional damage. Staffs are a two-handed 武器; thus, players cannot equip Shields while wielding staffs.

护甲

Players can earn set bonuses when wearing 护甲 of the same 战斗 类型 (i.e., melee, 远程, 魔法) and can mix and match within that 类型. For example, a player wearing a Ranger Hat (远程), Dragonkin Mage Robes (魔法), and Necromancer's Robe Bottom (魔法) will get the second tier of 魔法 set bonuses and the first tier of 远程 set bonuses. The 魔法 护甲 set bonuses are:

  • 1/3 -50% stamina regen delay
  • 2/3 +17.5% 魔法 攻击 speed
  • 3/3 +15% 魔法 crit chance

Runes

Runes are used when casting spells. Currently, only Air Runes and Fire Runes can be used for 战斗 魔法. Players can select which Elemental 符文 they want to autocast by going to the second tab of the inventory and right-clicking on the desired 符文.

Consumables

Magical Focus is a craftable 物品 unlocked at level 39 魔法 where players can imbue their equipped 法杖 with a 15% damage multiplier for 10 minutes.

Utility spells

Players unlock utility spells by levelling various Skills, including but not limited to 魔法. Some utility spells can assist with 战斗, while other spells are strictly used for skilling or 采集 materials more quickly.

Spellbook (menu)

Players can access the 法术 Book menu by pressing the P-button (default).

The left half of the menu shows a list of available/unavailable utility spells. Unavailable spells are greyed out, meaning the player has not met the 技能 requirement to unlock the 法术. Players can hover over the icon for a 描述 of each 法术.

The right half of the menu shows the spellbook players can customize with up to 12 utility spells they have unlocked. Players can drag-and-掉落 or point-and-click the desired utility spells to the spellbook. Players can also cycle between four different spellbooks for added customization.

Spellbook (wheel)

Players can access their customised Spellbooks by pressing the Q-button (default), which will open the wheel whilst still seeing the player's surroundings. Players can cycle between their four spellbook loadouts and point-and-click the desired utility 法术, which will automatically exit the interface.

Boosts

Players can consume Potions, eat 食物, or equip Trinkets to increase 攻击 经验 or increase damage and, indirectly, the 经验.

1 Air 魔法 Passive Summon the unrelenting force of Air! Equip Air runes to unleash the power of wind against an enemy, dealing high single target damage and knocking your enemies down!
5 次要 Attacks Passive Charge up and release powerful 次要 法杖 spells.
7 Water 魔法 Passive Conjure the supportive power of Water! Equip Water Runes to Damage and Slow your enemies while also healing yourself and your allies. Kills with Water 魔法 have a chance to spawn Water orbs.
11 Surge 法术 Channel arcane power into your dodges, travelling further and evading longer as a result.
16 Arcane Expertise Passive Unlocks an additional powerful magical 攻击 at the end of 法杖 魔法 combos.
20 Runic Refund Passive Your greater understanding of 魔法 gives you a 30% chance to preserve runes when attacking with 魔法.
21 Fire 魔法 Passive Wield the destructive forces of fire. Equip Fire Runes to deal medium damage to enemies in a large area and build up burning on them to reduce them to ash
25 Afterimage Passive Distract your enemies by leaving behind an illusionary image for a short time when you use your first. surge charge.
30 Confuse 法术 Twist the minds of lesser enemies, making them unable to distinguish between friend and foe for a limited time.
34 魔法 药剂 配方 Unlock the 配方 for the 魔法 药剂 at the Brewing Cauldron.
39 魔法 Focus 配方 Allows 制造 of 魔法 focus at the 制造 Table, which can be used to imbue 魔法 staves to increase their damage!
44 Greater Confuse Passive The Confuse 法术 now works on a wider variety of creatures.
99 魔法 Skillcape Unlock Unlocks the ability to wear and craft the 魔法 Skillcape and its trimmed variant.
