Fire Runes can be crafted at a 符文 Altar at level 25 符文制作 or higher, and can deal between 6-10 base damage, along with whatever staves the player equips. Fire runes are used in spells such as Rocksplosion, Superheat, and Fire Spirit.

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.
Guthix created runes in the First Age, here on Ashenfall. He found a way of capturing the ambient wild anima of the continent in the floating 符文 essence around the region. He would then give these runes to his druids, teaching them the fundamentals of 魔法.
The Fire 符文 contains enough magical fire to light a campfire. Battle mages prize it for its ability to lob that small fire at an enemy instead. Either way, they’re a very handy resource.
