伐木 is a 采集技能 focused on chopping Trees to collect logs, which are primarily used in the 制造 and 建筑 skills. As players improve their 伐木 level, they can chop trees more efficiently and gain access to spells, which can also be used to chop trees and split them into logs. Ash and Oak Trees both have a respawn time of 12 minutes after the tree has been felled from their stumps.

Techniques

Standard chop: This is best used for trees that haven't fallen.
Overhead chop: This is best for trees that have fallen already, and will do 1-3 damage to standing trees.

Spells

Axtral Projection: This can be used to take down multiple trees at once if lined up properly, and can also be used to clear stumps.
Splinter: This will process fallen trees into usable logs, and the player can push multiple logs together or chop trees strategically to maximise logs per cast by casting it on multiple logs at once.

Boosts

Foremans Feast: Grants a 33% stamina reduction whilst 伐木 for five minutes.
Knowledgable Nourishment - Provides an additional 10% 经验 gain while active.
Inspiring 戒指 of 伐木 - Provides an additional 5% 经验 gain while worn.
Skills Necklace - Chance to get bonus resources when 采集.

Weak Focused 伐木 from Weak Focused 伐木药剂 - Provides an additional 15% 经验 gain for 300s.
Lesser Focused 伐木 from Lesser Focused 伐木药剂 - Provides an additional 15% 经验 gain for 600s.
Focused 伐木 from Focused 伐木药剂 - Provides an additional 30% 经验 gain for 300s.

Levelling up 伐木 grants access to both passive benefits as well as unlocking Spells and other abilities.

40	Lumber Storage	配方	You can now build the lumber storage, a very high capacity storage for logs and planks.
52	Trunk Totem	法术	Transmute scattered trees into a single totem.

78	Lumber Backpack	配方	Increases 伐木 XP, increases rare 掉落 chances and reduces 木材重量 when worn.

99	伐木 Skillcape	Passive	Unlocks the ability to craft and wear the 伐木 Skillcape and its trimmed variant.
