The following text is transcribed from the Journal.
Few sights are as intimidating as a Great 斧 hefted toward you. It can only be carried in a pose that exudes raw 力量. The bearer of such a 武器 rarely looks meek.
Bandos was also a fan of the aesthetic. While he favoured the sheer brutality of the Kyzaj, he chose to wield a Great 斧 against Velgar. He stormed Brakka’s Folly, Great 斧 in hand, and challenged the 龙族 to single 战斗. A god versus a 龙族, the outcome felt obvious. Yet it did not play out as Bandos expected.
It should have been easy. Yet Velgar’s 石头-touched flesh turned away Bandos' blows, and his poisonous breath leeched Bandos’ 力量. Bandos cut a great scar down Velgar’s side, yet it was not, and the counterattack sent Bandos reeling.
He never surrendered, but there was no victory for the big high war god. He sounded a tactical retreat, seeking a better strategy – far, far away.
