The wild creatures of Ashenfall have always been elusive. Bramblemead villagers would tell wild stories about the deer that got away or the sheep that shrugged off an arrow. Still, those who could wield a 弓 rarely left their family hungry.

One Wild Knight, Frode, was so skilled with the 弓 that he never returned from a hunt empty-handed. His siblings among the Wild Knights would send him out hunting before every great 采集, so that they might feast heartily upon his return. For years, this was their happiest tradition.

Until the day he did not return.

It is said that his 胸甲 was found in five separate places, spread out across the forests of Brynmoor like some gruesome compass. His quiver was empty, yet none of his arrows – marked as they were, with his symbol, an owl – would ever be found.
