The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

One of the first weapons ever created, the 石头 匕首 has a sinister history. At first, it allowed early humans, dwarves, elves and other intelligent species to thrive. They could take down prey and feast on the spoils, using the 匕首 to pare down the kill, making it easier to eat. It created the gap between animals and people, the first step toward civilization.

It’s also the first 工具 to lead to murder.

A young man whose name has long been forgotten once created a 匕首 of glittering black 石头. Pleased with his work, he displayed it proudly, earning the admiration and envy from those around him.

So proud was he of the 匕首 that he would whisper to it, acting as though it would whisper back. On the day he slit the chieftain’s throat, he claimed that the 匕首 had told him to do it.

Fortunately, most 石头 Daggers are pleasingly silent.
